Q: Will Poker Life Manager make me a better poker player?

A: No and yes. We won't make you a better player, but since bankroll management is a large component of being a poker player, we will help take care of your accounting and managing your finances. This will allow you to concentrate fully on developing your poker game.

Q: I have lost my phone, what can I do?

A: Well, we really hope you can find it. If you are concerned about your Poker Life Management data, don't be. We store all data on highly secure servers, so you can sign into your account from any device and access all your data.

Q: Can I use Poker Life Manager whilst being offline?

A: Since we store all data online, you will need an active internet connection to use the app. However, if your connection drops briefly whilst you are entering information, we will try to cache that data and update our servers once you are back online.

Q: I am unsure of how to perform certain actions within Poker Life Manager, is there any way to learn?

A: Absolutely. You can find tutorials on every aspect of Poker Life Manager within the Tutorials Page of the application. You could also visit our website and social media channels if you wish to explore more.

Q: What are the perks of Subscribing to Poker Life Manager?

A: You can compare all subscription tiers within the Subscription Page of the application. The Check Tier (Free) will provide enough functionality for casual or recreational players. The Raise and All-in Tiers unlock more features for deeper bankroll management.

Q: How do I know if I should subscribe to a higher tier level?

A: That depends on your usage of Poker Life Manager. If you play more than 10 sessions a month, frequently participate in IOUs, or wish to track more expenditures and bankroll transactions, you should consider moving up a tier. Not only do you unlock more entries, but also monthly and daily stats, offline friends, income statement breakdown, and so much more. You can always see your current usage under the Usage Limits Page.

Q: What is and IOU?

A: As the name implies; it means I OWE YOU. IOUs allow you to create Poker Stakes, Swaps, Loans, Debts, and Bets with your friends. You send and receive the IOUs, and they need to be approved by the receiving party. You can then track any payments made between friends for each IOU. Poker Life Manager does not facilitate the fund transfers, so you must do this outside of the app. Please watch our IOU tutorial videos for more information.

Q: My friend doesn't have Poker Life Manager, but I wish to track and IOU with them. What can I do?

A: The best solution would be to make them download Poker Life Manager! It's free after all. If that doesn't work, you can always create your friend as an offline friend, and create IOUs with that offline friend.

Q: Is there any way to speed up the process of entering poker data?

A: Definitely. Templates allow you to pre-set all information, suh as location, game style, limit, currency, and type. With one click you can fill out most of the data entry. Templates not only help you to fill in data more quickly, but also allow you to track individual cash games or tournaments you play over and over again. Q: What is preferred currency?

A: For easier analysis, we convert all data into your preferred currency based on todays exchange rates. That way you can easily compare sessions or IOUs that are in USD to ones that are in EURO for example. You can always change your preferred currency under Settings, or see your data in its base currency by clicking the currency filter. Q: Why should I change my profile picture?

A: Even though our logo is beautiful, you may wish to personalize your account a little. Your profile picture will be displayed in your friends debt list, dashboards, and any IOUs you have made with them.

Q: I have entered data, but it has not appeaed. What should I do?

A: Since all of you data and statistics are stored and calculated on our servers, it may take a few seconds to update based on your connectivitiy. Don't worry though, your data will always update correctly! You could always revisit a page and see if it has updated.

Q: I'm having a certain isue with my account, or need some clarification. How do I get in touch with your team?

Q: Is my data private?

A: Yup. We never ask for your name, date of birth, or any uniquely identifying information. You just need an email address. You could even make a new email address only for Poker Life Manager! Just make sure you don't share your password with anyone!

Q: I wish to erase the data in my account, how can I do this?

A: Ideally you don't. Keeping all of your data is an important part of bankroll management. Especially your losing sessions. However, if you wish to delete certain sessions, IOUs, expenditures, or bankroll transactions, you can always manually do so. You can also delete groups, locations, templates, and blinds once you've deleted your sessions. Deleting IOUs with other Poker Life Manager users will require their approval, and all transactions within the IOU will be reversed for all users involved.

Q: What is an Other Expenditure?

A: It is intended for you to make it what you want. Ideally, it is anything other than transport, acccommodation, asset purchase, or food and beverage expenditure. Maybe you're paying for poker coaching and wish to add that?

Q: What is an Other Bankroll Transaction?

A: It is intended to be any other positive increase to your bankroll outside of poker, IOUs, rake, bonus, or bankroll injection. Maybe you won the lottery and wish to add that?

Q: How can Poker Life Manager have a free tier, and without ads?

A: We feel everyone should be able to look at what Poker Life Manager has to offer. We also think that professionals should be able to create IOUs, such as stakes, with their friends who don't necessarily play a lot of poker. In terms of ads, we feel it harms the user experience. We wish to provide an intuitive platform for aspiring poker players to explore how bankroll management can influence their potential. But we also wish to give professional poker players everything they may need. We believe we have balanced our tier range to reflect this.
